Dolores C. "Dee"Sarver, 86, of Renfrew died Monday morning at the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg.

Born May 12, 1920, in Flat River, Missouri, she was the daughter of William and Clara McCarver Cox.

She was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis as a registered nurse. She then joined the Navy as a nurse, meeting her husband, William J. Sarver Jr., in Hawaii during World War II after Pearl Harbor. They were married Jan. 12, 1946, and he died on July 26, 2002.

She was a member of the Nixon United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed horse shows, crocheting and crafting, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann McCormick of Renfrew; a son, William John Sarver III, and his wife, Cynthia, of Warriors Mark, Huntingdon County; three grandchildren, Jason and Josh McCormick, and Julie Anderson; and two great-grandchildren, Massimo and Niccolo McCormick.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

<B>Sarver</B> — Friends of Dolores C. "Dee"Sarver, who died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev. Carol Fleeger, a family friend, officiating.
