Loss bounces KC from title contest
Matt Krafick paced three Redbank Valley players in double figures with 19 points as the Bulldogs defeated Karns City, 63-57, in boys basketball action Friday night.
The loss denied the Gremlins (16-8, 14-5) a berth in the KSACchampionship.
Mike Senopole led Karns City with 16 points, including four 3-pointers. Cameron Turner added 12 points.
Brock Reed scored 13 points and Joe Monteleone contributed 12 for Redbank (14-9, 12-7).
The Gremlins scored 23 points in the fourth quarter, only to fall short.
