Anthony J. Lominski
Anthony J. "Tony" Lominski, 80, of Argentine, Washington Township, died at 6:35 p.m. Friday at his home.
Born April 25, 1926, in Argentine, he was the son of John and Mary Fick Lominski.
He was a member of St. Alphonsus Parish and attended the St. Paschal Catholic Church.
Mr. Lominski was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of the VFW in Cherry Valley and the American Legion Post 243 in West Sunbury.
He had been a coal miner in Wildwood and Ellwood City and retired from J.M. Beatty Automotive in Eau Claire.
He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, trapping and gardening.
He is survived by three daughters, Kathy Cook and Mary Ann Lominski, both of Hilliards, and Janet Lominski of Butler; a son, Anthony Lominski of Parker; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Kawulich of Pittsburgh.
Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Lominski, who died June 19, 1987; 14 brothers and sisters; and a great-granddaughter.
<B>LOMINSKI</B> — Friends of Anthony J. "Tony" Lominski, who died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>William P. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, West Sunbury, with the Rev. Richard Thompson, pastor of the St. Alphonsus Parish, officiating.Burial will be at the Rosewood Cemetery, Washington Township.
