Tuesday — A car driven by Emily Plyler, no age given, of Fredonia struck a utility pole along Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County. Plyler, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at the Grove City Medical Center.5:10 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Walter Gilmore, 65, of Harrisville struck the rear of another car on Route 58 near Fleming Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. Gerald Covert, 19, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in Gilmore's car, suffered minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.Police did not identify the driver of the other car. Gilmore was cited for careless driving.
