Jodi and Shawn Pugh

Butler residents Jodi Mershimer and Shawn Pugh were wed at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 in Coleman Hall at the Tanglewood Center in Lyndora. A reception followed at the center.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Carla Mershimer and Deb Lewis, all of Butler. The bridegrooom's parents are Kevin and Barb Pugh of Butler.

The matron of honor was Dana Kildoo of Grove City. Bridesmaids included Geri Rees of Butler and Brenda Alter of Saxonburg.

Performing the duties of best man was Ryan Pugh of Butler. Ushers included Curt Mershimer of West Sunbury and Clint Lewis of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Butler High School and a 1997 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is employed by Butler County.

The bridegroom graduated in 1991 from Butler High and in 1997 from Slippery Rock University. He also works for the County of Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to Deep Creek Lake, Md., the couple is making their home in Butler.
