Anna Hornyak
Anna Boyuka Hornyak, 84, of Middlesex Township, formerly of Bridgeville, died Sunday.
Born July 5, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Harry and Mary Karas Boyuka.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse who had worked at the J.J. Kane Hospital.
She was a member of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church in Carnegie.
Surviving are her sons, S. Thomas (Carol) Hornyak of Middlesex Township and John (Andrea) Hornyak of Oakton, Va.; a brother, John Yarowenko of Carnegie; grandchildren, Adam, Alex, Mari and Eli Hornyak, and great-grandchildren, Amelia and Brook Hornyak.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hornyak, who died Nov. 17, 2006; a sister, Mary Coligure; and two brothers, Sam and John Boyuka.
