11:24 a.m. Tuesday — Two drivers suffered injuries when a car driven by Helen Constantino, 70, of Renfrew hit a car driven by James Wahl, 66, of Evans City on Meridian Road at Whitestown Road. Constantino failed to stop at a red light and hit Wahl's car. She also hit a traffic sign and utility pole. Constantino was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Her condition is unknown. Wahl suffered minor injuries, but refused treatment. Constantino is to be cited for a red light violation and driving without a license.
11:25 p.m. Wednesday — Shane Hibbs, 18, of Valencia, was arrested for driving under the influence after he lost control of his car on Route 228 in Clinton Township. The car went off the road and got stuck in the snow. Hibbs was not injured.3:15 p.m. Tuesday — Karen Miller, 34, of Karns City was attacked at 214 Dessa Lane, Fairview Township, by two women and a man. She was punched and hit in the head with a baseball bat. Butler Memorial Hospital did not confirm Wednesday if Miller was a patient or had been treated there. Her condition is unknown.6:38 a.m. Tuesday — No one was injured when Wayne J. Jackson, 21, of Butler lost control of his SUV on Route 68 near Moose Road in Connoquenessing Township. He crossed the road and hit an SUV driven by Walter W. Kradel Jr., 50, of Butler, which then hit a utility pole. No charges will be filed.
Wednesday — State police are investigating two cases of indecent assault. The first case stems from charges made by a 16-year-old girl who said a known suspect fondled her about six or seven years ago. Mercer County Children and Youth Services also are investigating.The second case occurred in Fall 2006 in Paint Township, Clarion County, when a 50-year-old male suspect sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl on numerous occasions at his home.3:27 p.m. Tuesday — A 60-year-old East Brady woman has reported that someone used her debit card to make unauthorized withdraws from her bank account.Jan. 29 — A 13-year-old Emlenton girl reported that she was shoved to the ground and repeatedly kicked by a 12-year-old Parker girl at A-C Valley High School in Richland Township.
7:30 a.m. Wednesday — George R. Probst Jr., of Grove City stopped his car for a school bus on Route 208 in Springfield Township and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by a male juvenile, also from Grove City. The juvenile was cited for driving on a restricted license and was given a written warning for unsafe speed.
