Joyce E. Rassau, 80, of Sarver died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 20, 1926, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Dorie and Twila Bricker Edwards.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her cats.

Mrs. Rassau was a member of the Expressway Baptist Church and was a former member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a son, Charles W. Rassau of Sarver; a brother, Dean Edwards of Tarentum; two sisters, Jane Daly of Natrona Heights and Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Bartell of Freeport; four grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Rassau, who died Oct. 16, 1971, and a sister.
