Beverly I. McCoy

Beverly I. McCoy, 73, of Harmony died Tuesday.

Born April 12, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of James and Margaret Mann Miller.

She was a lifelong member of the Park United Presbyterian Church, Zelienople, where she belonged to the Women's Association, the Ruth Circle, the Evening Circle and various other church activities.

Mrs. McCoy supported the Mars Home for Youth, volunteered at the Central Blood Bank and was a former member of the American Red Cross.

She enjoyed gardening, going to the beach and collecting seashells and lighthouses.

Surviving are her husband, Charles L. McCoy, whom she married Sept. 5, 1953; a son, Robert D. McCoy and his wife, Laurel, of Tacoma, Wash.; a daughter, Cynthia A. Fong and her husband, James, of Portersville; and eight grandchildren, Katie, Bonnie, Amy and Michael McCoy, Jonathan, Brian and Maggie Gorski and Aaron Fong.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee McCoy.

<B>MCCOY</B> — Friends of Beverly I. McCoy, who died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Park United Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Patrick McElroy officiating.
