Ziacik goes on a 3 spree to lead Pioneers to victory

Knoch High School graduate Ryan Ziacik hit eight 3-pointers for all of his game-high 24 points as the Butler County Community College men's basketball team downed CCAC- Allegheny 79-63 Wednesday night.

Butler grad Blake Anderson added 20 points for the Pioneers (9-10, 3-6), who will host Pitt-Titusville at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Butler High graduate Sam Karns scored 21 points to lead five Pioneers in double digits in an 84-28 rout of CCAC- Allegheny Wednesday night.Slippery Rock grad Jessica Fry, Butler grad Ashley Nocera and Franklin grad Shannon Onderko each scored 11 points, and Butler grad Michele Ritchey pitched in another 10 for BC3 (14-4, 7-2).CCAC-Allegheny started the game with only five active players and had two foul out.The Pioneers will host Pitt-Titusville at noon Saturday.
