Stephens, Smith
Lia Stephens and Jeffrey Smith, both of Butler, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church in Butler. The Rev. Timothy Bupp officiated. A reception followed at the Cheeseman Farm in Portersville.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Sharon Stephens of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Betty Jo Smith of Butler.
The honor attendant was Jeanette Stephens of Sarver. The flower girl was Jillian Stephens of Sarver.
Performing the duties of best man was Jamie Smith of Butler.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Knoch High School and a 1997 graduate of Penn State University. She is employed at This Old House Antique and Gift Shop in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1989 from Butler High School, in 1993 from Geneva College, in 1995 from Indiana (Pa.) University and in 1999 from Slippery Rock University. He works for the Franklin School District in Franklin.
Following a honeymoon trip to Yellowstone National Park, the couple is making their home in Center Township.
