Geneva College students integrate faith, learning

Geneva College combines a superb academic reputation with a family atmosphere that helps incoming students feel comfortable immediately and creates lifelong bonds among students, faculty, administrators and alumni.

Geneva is on a 55-acre campus in Beaver Falls. The college is committed to a Reformed Christian worldview, so learning is a total Christ-centered experience.

For almost 160 years, Geneva has nurtured and challenged students, just like in a true Christian family.

Geneva offers more than 30 undergraduate and graduate majors in a variety of arts, sciences and humanities. These majors encompass everything from biblical languages to business administration, from engineering and science to Christian ministry and communications.

The focus is on helping students integrate their faith with learning and living.

There are more than 80 full-time faculty members, and a few dozen more adjunct faculty. They are all readily accessible to students as mentors and partners, offering opportunities for one-on-one learning experiences.

Geneva is a college of instant friendships because students are surrounded by like-minded people who want to freely live out their Christian faith. There are extensive opportunities to gather together in a variety of venues including intramural or club sports, community ministries, special interest clubs and athletic team sports.

Belonging to a community of Christians provides Geneva students with a reservoir of support and encouragement. Nearly 95 percent of Geneva's students qualify for some type of financial assistance. Geneva's counselors assist them at every stage of the admissions process.

Geneva believes internships open doors to employment opportunities, and so the Career Development Center maintains a database of more than 50,000 local, regional and national internships. An array of counselors and advisers works with students to help them pursue a customized work experience.

The results are impressive: 94 percent of Geneva students are working or in graduate school within six months of graduation.

Geneva College is an ideal choice for students who are serious about their faith and looking for quality Christian education that will enable them to discern God's call and prepare them for faithful service in His kingdom.
