10:06 p.m. Thursday — Earl Maier, 25, of Butler was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order after he allegedly called Billie Jo Henry, 32, at her North Elm Street apartment. Maier, who is charged with indirect criminal contempt, is free on $2,500 bail.

6:26 p.m. Monday — Justin Cooksey, 25, of Lyndora was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order, after he allegedly called Shannon Crawford, 24, at her Wesley Lane home in Summit Township. Cooksey who is charged with indirect criminal contempt, is in the Butler County Prison on $2,000 bond.7:30 a.m. Monday — Acar driven by Mackenzie Bernarding, 19, of Cochranton, Crawford County, struck a tree along Boyers Road in Mercer Township.9:55 a.m. Sunday — Amini-van driven by Donald Cratty, no age given, of Butler crashed on slush-covered Route 422 near Unionville Road in Franklin Township. Natascha Cratty, no age given, of Butler, a passenger in the van, suffered unknown injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.6:04 p.m. Saturday — Jessica Braunlich, 19, of Pittsburgh swerved her car to avoid a raccoon and struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.7:45 p.m. Friday — Apickup truck driven by Charles J. Cunningham, 31, of Saxonburg crashed on Dinnerbell Road near Frazer Road in Jefferson Township. No details of the crash were available this morning.12:30 p.m. Friday — AMack truck driven by James Eccles, 45, of Colliers, W.Va., and a car driven by Joshua Young, 20, of East Butler collided on East Butler Road near Mitchell Hill Road in Summit Township. Young, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Eccles was cited for illegally entering or crossing a road.8:40 a.m. Thursday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Helen McCall, 67, of Cabot and a car driven by Corey Griffith, 33, of Leechburg, Armstrong County, collided on Bonniebrook Road near Route 356 in Jefferson Township. McCall was cited for driving too fast for conditions.8:35 a.m. Thursday — Acar driven by Michael Blackmore, 43, of Freeport struck a guardrail on Bonniebrook Road near Route 356 in Jefferson Township. Blackmore was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
