Shirley E. Miller, 73, of Kemar Drive died Tuesday at the Kittanning Care Center.

Born June 30, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of Edward J. and Grace Lewis Edgington.

Mrs. Miller had worked in the ferrite department at Magnetics in East Butler for more than 20 years before she retired in 1998.

She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed bingo, reading, baking, bowling and ceramics.

Surviving are her husband, Harold W. Miller, whom she married March 19, 1956; a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Bill Lucas of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Tamara Miller of Butler; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Lucas of Tallahassee, Fla.

She also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. George (Janet) Zacherl of Saxonburg, Mrs. Larry (Helen) Osche of Herman and Mrs. Don (Nancy) Morse of Butler; a brother and his wife, Ed and Donna Edgington of Butler; an aunt, Mrs. Eleanora Michael of Herman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

An infant son, William; and two brothers, Alvin and Kenneth Edgington preceded her in death.

<B>MILLER </B>— Friends of Shirley E. Miller, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman, his church pastor, officiating.
