Ruby A. Coleman, 91, of Chicora died Tuesday at the Whispering Acres Personal Care Home, Chicora, where she lived for the past four years.

Born in Boyers, March 27, 1915, she was the daughter of Joseph and Aroline "Arlie" Jack Garner.

She had attended the Boyers School. She moved to the Petrolia area as a young girl to work in the homes of relatives during the Great Depression and lived in the Petrolia and Chicora area ever since.

Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Petrolia Presbyterian Church and the West Sunbury Rebekah Lodge 19.

Surviving are two daughters, Diane Rudish and her husband, Paul, of Chicora and Naomi Brenneman and her husband, John, of Butler. She was the devoted grandmother to Kathleen Brenneman and her husband, Dan Fazio, of Zelienople, Erika Rudish of Lexington Park, Md., Michael Brenneman and Lisa Miller of Chicora and Michelle Shaw and her husband, Christopher, of St. Marys; and great-grandchildren, Trent and Ashley Brenneman, both of Chicora, Britney and Sydney Shaw, both of St. Marys and Kyra Fazio of Zelienople.

She also is survived by a sister-in-law, Jane Garner of Barkeyville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, William L. Coleman, whom she married Aug. 21, 1939, in Chicora, died March 31, 1988. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Dewayne, Robert and Laverne Garner.

<B>COLEMAN</B> — Friends of Ruby A. Coleman, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Rowe, a Presbyterian pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Annandale Cemetery, Boyers.
