Debby J. Chuba, 55, of Butler died Monday at her home.

Her son, And-ew S. "Drew" Chuba, also died Monday.

Born Oct. 10, 1951, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles M. and Laura Jean Wise Brown of Butler.

She was a 1969 graduate of Butler High School and a 1973 alumna of the New Brighton School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

She loved her grandkids and her basset hounds.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ian (Stacey Burchett) Kingsley of Butler; two sons, Shane Burchett and his wife, Kate, and Josh Burchett and his fiancée, Leather Durso, all of Butler; a stepdaughter, Adria Chuba of Butler; a stepson, Ryan Chuba of Butler; and grandchildren, Austin and Cameron Weisenstein, Allyson Burchett and Rocky Michael III.

She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Gary (Peggy) Baptiste and Mrs. Bob (Kim) Geagan, both of Butler; and a brother, Kent Brown and his wife, Lexie, of Meadville.

<B>CHUBA</B> — Friends of Debby J. Chuba, who died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will follow at 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Kail, pastor of the Unionville United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Private burial will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
