Pioneers suffer pair of defeats

Kevin Scott and Ryan Ziacik each scored 22 points, but the Butler County Community College men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking 85-84 decision Wednesday night when Potomac State scored the winning basket with one second left in the game.

The Pioneers (8-9, 2-5) led at halftime, 46-42.

The Pioneers had three players score in double figures, but fell at home to Potomac State 81-63.Ashley Nocera led BC3 with 12 points on four 3-pointers, Shannon Onderko had 11 points and eight assists, and Natalie Wallace chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Pioneers (11-4).
