2:53 a.m. today — Christopher L. Edwards, no age available, of Butler was charged with writing a check for $278.22 to E&S Variety Store on a closed account.10:30 p.m. Monday — Four vehicles suffered minor damage in a crash at Olive and Federal streets. Ryan C. Kralel, 18, of Butler was driving south on Olive Street when he pulled to the right curb to move out of the way of a city salt truck driven by Thomas Shuler of Butler. Kralel's truck slid into two parked vehicles. It continued to slide into the salt truck.4:45 p.m. Jan. 15 — A car driven by Joanne Collins of Butler was in the left turn lane of Main Street to turn onto Fulton Street when another car swerved into her passenger side, causing minor damage.11:06 a.m. Dec. 31 — William Anderson, 33, of Butler was charged with causing accidents with damage to unattended vehicles, driving on a suspended license and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
9:56 p.m. Tuesday — Ronald George Gunniers Sr., 66, of Slippery Rock reported his vehicle was hit from behind as he sat at a traffic light at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 228 in Middlesex Township. The unknown driver of the second vehicle fled.7:32 p.m. Tuesday — Glenn Myers, 45, of Fenelton was arrested for aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said he threw Kim Myers, 47, also of Fenelton out of the home and then began to kick and beat her. He also held a knife to her neck and threatened to kill her if the police arrived, police said. Glenn Myers was jailed and bail was set at $10,000.2:28 p.m. Tuesday — Fred H. Navara, 77, of New Wilmington was attempting to turn left off the Interstate 79 ramp onto Route 422 when he hit a truck driven by Gregory L. Booher, 44 of Advent, W.Va. Navara's SUV suffered moderate damage.2:38 p.m. Tuesday — Brandon Miller, 17, of Cranberry Township was merging onto Interstate 79 in Jackson Township when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed into the median. He was not injured.9:16 a.m. Tuesday — Carl A. Kammerdiener, 59, of Ford City lost control of his car on Old Route 422 in Clearfield Township and crossed into the opposing lane and struck a car driven by Megan Elizabeth Taylor, 20, of Fenelton. Kammerdiener will be cited for driving too fast for conditions. Taylor will be cited for driving with an expired inspection.7:30 p.m. Monday — Steven Eugene Andreassi, 45, of Butler reported his 1998 Buick Regal sedan stolen from Schnur Road in Summit Township.6 p.m. Jan 16 — Michael Andrew Young, 32, of Cherry Valley reported an unknown caller left a threatening message on his answering machine.Jan. 17 — Stanzione's Metals reported that items that included radiators, a brass gear and aluminum blocks were taken from the business on Brewer Road in Clinton Township during the week.
5:10 p.m. Monday — Clayton C. Klonowski, 30, of Grove City was traveling on Route 173 in Pine Township when he lost control on an icy patch. He started to spin and was hit by a vehicle driven by Jessica Kirby, 26, of Mercer. Kirby and a passenger, Rebecca Buckham, 19, of Franklin were treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.
