William Lang Sr.

Lang Sr.

William H. Lang Sr., 72, of Cranberry Township died Wednesday at UPMC Passavant hospital.

Born June 21, 1934, in Warrendale, he was the son of George and Marie Zierenberg Lang.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cranberry Township.

Mr. Lang was an Army veteran and served at the Nike missile site in Monroeville.

He retired from Robinson Industries in 1997.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper, and was a life member of the Mars Rod and Gun Club and a former member of the North American Hunting Club and the NRA.

Surviving are his wife, Arla Lang, whom he married June 24, 1955; two daughters, April Mae Donoughe of Greensburg and Linda S. DeSantis and her husband, John, of Freedom; a son, William H. Lang Jr. and his wife, Pamela, of Valencia; and a sister, Marie Rieseck of Cranberry Township.

He also is survived by seven grandchildren, Megan Lang, Ben McCullough, Jean and Aleasha Donoughe, Tiffany and Jeremiah Bauman and Cheyenne Lang.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Lang Sr., who died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Brown, his church pastor, officiating.
