Making the march
Early this morning, about 500 people from Butler County boarded buses headed to Washington, D.C., for today's March for Life event. The pro-life rally and march mark the 33rd anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, legalizing abortion. Departing from Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Middlesex Township are, in the back row, from left, Sister Marion Senish, Bob Cararie, Gretchen Cararie, Kim Roos and Jack Roos. In front are Emily Sippey and Rachael Roos. Participants from Holy Sepulcher wore yellow scarves to help identify each other at the event. The buses are to return late tonight.
