Seton Hill receives $1.5M for arts center
GREENSBURG — The Richard King Mellon Foundation gave Seton Hill University $1.5 million for the University Center for the Performing Arts.
Site preparation for the center in Greensburg began in November and construction is scheduled to begin in March.
The center will include a flexible theater, music hall, rehearsal space, set and costume design rooms, classrooms and faculty offices.
The center's fundraising campaign has raised more than $18 million of a projected goal of $21 million.
