2 winners will move to Pa. pageant

Girls ages 13 to 17 will compete for two titles Jan. 28 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

Seven contestants will vie for the title of 2007 Miss Butler County Outstanding Teen/America, with six competing for the 2007 Miss Moraine State Outstanding Teen/America title.

Judging categories will include interview, talent, evening gown, casual wear, fitness and onstage questions.

Winners of the pageants will advance in June to the Miss Pennsylvania pageant. The state winner will compete in August at the national event in Florida.

The role of master of ceremonies will be shared by Brooke Miller, 2006 Miss Butler County Outstanding Teen/America; and Lucy Hazlett, 2006 Miss Moraine State/America.

Tawni Darby, last year's Miss Moraine State Outstanding Teen/America who won the state title, will also appear.

The event is presented by the Miss Butler County and Miss Moraine State/America Scholarship Pageants. Terry Leyland will serve as pageant director.

Contestants include:

Sarah Bishop, 14, is the daughter of Scott and Lori Bishop of Butler. She will do a vocal performance of "Someone Like You." Emiley Duespohl, 16, is the daughter of Tom and Colleen Duespohl of Butler. She will do a jazz-acro dance to "Right Now."

Kara Fenoglietto, 15, is the daughter of David and Janelle Fenoglietto of Mars. She will do a vocal performance of "The Phantom of the Opera." Josephine Gilliland, 14, is the daughter of Steven and Dusty Gilliland of Butler. She will dance to "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend."

Haley Mudrick, 17, is the daughter of Nicholas and Vicki Mudrick of Butler. She will do a jazz dance to "Fever." Shelby Rose, 17, is the daughter of David and Karen Rose of Cranberry Township. She will dance to "Just Like Heaven." Jenna Smaldino, 15, is the daughter of Tony and Karen Smaldino of Butler. She will do a tap dance to "Miss Otis Regrets."

Krista Cutrone, 15, is the daughter of Bill and Eileen Cutrone of Moon Township. She will do a tap dance to "I am a Brass Band." Leah Peterson, 16, is the daughter of Paul and Patty Peterson of Grove City. She will do a vocal performance of "O Mio Babino."

Hannah Pratt, 15, is the daughter of Michael and Janet Pratt of Polk. She will do a vocal performance of "Think of Me." Carly Rice, 15, of Meadville is the daughter of Debby Wilson and Fred Rice. She will dance to "The Way You Make Me Feel."

Caitlyn Trent, 17, is the daughter of Craig and Michelle Trent of Grove City. She will do a jazz dance to "Fever." Cassandra Trent, 13, is the daughter of Craig and Michelle Trent of Grove City. She will do a vocal performance of "Reflections."
