Monday — Heather Grosskopf reported someone between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Sunday broke into her East Brady Street apartment and stole an Emerson DVDplayer and a bottle of prescription drugs. The stolen property is valued at $50.2:46 a.m. Sunday — Justin Angerett, 30, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Fairview Avenue. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license-DUI related, and careless driving.7:15 p.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by Matthew Undercuffler, 17, and a van driven by William Jordan, 30, both of Summit Township, collided at Pullman Plaza. Undercuffler, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for careless driving.
5 p.m. Sunday — Two Allegheny County residents were arrested for shoplifting and other charges at the Butler Commons' Wal-Mart store.District Judge Lewis Stoughton arraigned Thomas Lasher, 30, of Tarentum and Heather Birch, 22, of Natrona on charges of retail theft and conspiracy. Additionally, Lasher is charged with possessing instruments of crime.Lasher and Birch, following arraignment, were placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 and $5,000 bond, respectively.
4:45 p.m. Monday — Renee Williams, 29, of Kittanning faces retail theft charges for allegedly taking two pairs of Nike sneakers from the JC Penney store at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.12:30 a.m. Monday — Josh White, 18, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he backed his car into a parked vehicle on Beacon Lane in Center Township.Sunday — Robert Ackerman reported someone between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday knocked over a decorative tree stump, which in turn crushed a new pine tree at his Branchton Road home in Cherry Township.
4:52 a.m. Sunday — Joseph Renwick, 26, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him passed out behind the wheel of his running vehicle on Toy Road in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
