9:33 p.m. Wednesday —Thomas Odom, 21, is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Krystal Bowser, 21, during a domestic dispute at their Pillow Street apartment. Police arrested Odom after a brief chase near the apartment. He was arraigned on charges of simple assault, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 bond.10:30 a.m. Tuesday — Abbey Donley, 25, is accused of assaulting her mother, Amy Donley, 47, during a domestic dispute at their Brugh Avenue home. Police said Donley allegedly threw a liquor bottle at her mother.The bottle, full of liquor, hit the victim on the side of her head.Amy Donley was treated for a head injury at Butler Memorial Hospital. Abbey Donley is charged with simple assault.

Thursday — Police continue to investigate the theft of jewelry taken in last month's burglary at a Grossman Lane home in Slippery Rock Township.Police said an unknown burglar broke into Brian's Grossman's house on Dec. 22 or 23 and took items from a jewelry box. Taken was a gold Seiko watch, gold wishbone-style bracelet and a gold ring with about 21 small diamonds. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.12:30 a.m. Wednesday — Avehicle driven by Carolyn Kobulnicky, 28, of Saxonburg traveled down an embankment after hitting several mailboxes along Dinnerbell Road and Azella Lane in Jefferson Township. Police said Kobulnicky and Rhonda Jenks, 35, of Saxonburg, a passenger, fled the crash site.4 a.m. Tuesday — Joshua McCardle, 19, of North Washington and Anthony McCardle, 20, of Butler were arrested for allegedly assaulting a 20-year-old Cabot man at the Five Oaks Trailer Park in Washington Township.The suspects are accused of punching and kicking Jason Roberts. Both defendants are charged with simple assault, conspiracy and harassment.Saturday — A man and woman allegedly "quick-changed" a cashier at the Clearview Mall Giant Eagle in Center Township.Police said the unknown suspects bought several inexpensive items with $100 bills and, after receiving their change, asked the cashier for different denomination. The scam netted the couple an additional $150.The suspects are described as a black man, between 30 and 50 years old, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 200 pounds; and a black woman in her 40s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 145 pounds.

1:40 a.m. Jan. 5 — Mark McNaughton, 52, of Rimersburg was arrested on drug and other charges following a traffic stop at Lawsonham and East Back streets in Rimersburg, Clarion County. McNaughton is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.

4:33 p.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Cody Doyle, 19, of Utica, Venango County, and a car driven by James Lawrentz, 38, of Stoneboro collided at Irishtown and Cranberry roads in Pine Township, Mercer County.1:35 a.m. Thursday — Ryan Delgros, 18, of Hermitage was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 258 near Blacktown Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County.

9:01 a.m. Wednesday — Atractor-trailer driven by Aaron French, 39, of Zanesville, Ohio, struck the rear of a dump truck on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Thomas Rapp, 39, of Rochester, Beaver County was driving the dump truck that was stopped at a red light.Wednesday — An unknown burglar between 3:30 and 9:20 p.m. stole medication after breaking into the Millbridge Road home of Ronald and Nancy Peak in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
