Air Force Master Sgt.

Bryan Roberts, unaccompanied consolidated dormitory manager for the 99th Civil Engineering Housing, Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nev., has been selected to receive the 2006 Employee of the Year from the Air Force and the prestigious Professional Housing Management Association at the annual PHMA conference in New Orleans in January.His accomplishments included the development of a dorm manager's guide and identifying areas for improvement. He also researched and purchased supplies and service contracts, provided an ample supply of washers and dryers and cleaning products for 13 dorms, obtained funds to replace furnishings and carpet for two dorms and refurbished more than 20 unaccompanied rooms for newly assigned or transient airmen on Nellis.He also supervised the renovation of four dorm rooms damaged by flooding and used funds from the base's self-help program for landscaping.During his 19-year Air Force career, he served in the first Gulf War and has received numerous awards including the 2006 Senior NCO of the Quarter for April-June.Roberts, a graduate of Seneca Valley High School, is the son of Ruth Roberts of Evans City and the late Richard Roberts.He and his wife, Sherryl and their two children make their home in Las Vegas.——

Army Pvt. <B>Mark Yoest </B>has graduated from basic training at Fort Knox, Ky.He is the son of Beth Yoest of Renfrew and the grandson of Ruth Mlikan of Gibsonia.Yoest is a 2006 graduate of Knoch High School.
