Lawther, Yankovich

Tina and David Yankovich

Tina Marie Lawther and David Yankovich, both of Jacksonville, Fla., were united in marriage July 29 at the Nixon United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. Bruce Merrit officiated. A reception followed at the Lake Arthur Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Furka of Saxonburg. The bridegroom's parents are Jerry Yankovich of Lakeland, Fla., and Carol Yankovich of Edinboro.

Michelle Thompson of Karns City and Amanda Carvajal of Deltona were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Noronha of Renfrew, Tara Seaton of East Butler, Shonna Goodwyn of Butler and Ingrid Eckerson of Erie. Elizabeth Carvajal of Deltona was flower girl.

Serving the bridegroom as best man were John Milosich of Takoma Park and John Yankovich of Erie. Ushers were Jon Kirk of Edinboro, Matthew Carlins of Pittsburgh, Greg Teetzel of Erie and Jeff Lasky or Erie. Matthew Thompson of Karns City was ring bearer.

Eric Parmarter of Erie was a greeter.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Knoch High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Penn State University in 2001. She is employed by IKEX in Mercer.

The bridegroom graduated in 1993 from General McLane High School and in 2000 from Penn State University, earning a bachelor's degree in management information systems. He works for the University of Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Pittsburgh.
