George and Margaret Geist

George and Margaret Geist of Cabot will celebrate 50 years of marriage Saturday with a family dinner at Davidson's Restaurant.

The former Margaret Thoma married Geist Jan. 5, 1957, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

They have four children, George Geist and James Geist, both of Cabot; Carol Hartman of Butler; and John Geist of Freeport.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Geist is retired from Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg. He enjoys hunting and fishing.

Mrs. Geist is a homemaker. She enjoys cooking.

The couple belongs to St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church.
