Agnes Prementine, 77, of Bessemer Avenue in Lyndora died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 25, 1929, in Butler, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose Tomasovich Erkman.

She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Lyndora and now a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.

She was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed cooking and family get-togethers. She was a member of the support group for the Butler County Blind Association.

Her husband of 41 years, John Prementine Jr., preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1987.

Surviving are three sons and their wives, Robert J. and Kathleen Prementine of Butler, John Prementine III of Butler, and Michael J. and Dixie Prementine of New Castle; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Barbara) Stewart of Butler; a brother, Joe Erkman of Butler; a half-sister, Mrs. Shirley Bonsignor of West Islip, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Mrs. Thomas (Beth) Chelton of Cypress, Texas, Jason Prementine and his wife, Bobbie, Rachel Stewart, and Nathan Stewart, all of Butler, and Jake, Mikayla, and Cassie Joe Prementine, all of New Castle; and four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lexis, Brady, and Levi Prementine, all of Butler.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Peter Erkman.

<B>PREMENTINE — </B>Friends of Agnes Prementine, who died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Butler.Members of St. Fidelis Parish will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to recite the rosary.
