Marie Harper of Connoquenessing celebrated her 94th birthday recently with a party for family and friends at Harmony Moose.

The former Marie Reparnic was born Dec. 6, 1912, in Pittsburgh. She married William Harper in 1931. He is deceased.

Mrs. Harper has eight daughters and three sons.

She also has 27 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She worked at Kauffman's in Pittsburgh for 20 years.

She belongs to St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church in Prospect, Women of the Moose, Plus 60 and Freeway Bowling League.
