Union girls top SR in 2 OTs

Tiffany Corle recorded a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Union girls basketball team to a 67-63 double-overtime victory over Slippery Rock Friday.

The game had eight players reach double figures, including Slippery Rock's Kourtney Rhoads with 19 points and 15 from Jenna Rinker.

The Rockets (5-3) outscored the Damsels 17-11 in the final quarter to force overtime, but Union (6-2) scored 11 points in the second overtime to grab the win.
