Admission buttons are available for the third annual Ring in the Arts New Year's Eve celebration in downtown Butler.

The party, which will run from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., will offer a range of local and regional talent in performances lasting 30 to 45 minutes.

Performers will include Ray Ryan and the New Orleans Riverside Band, The Merrymakers, Elliot Roth on piano and vocals, Trinity Jazz Orchestra, and Blue Max Schang, Prince Puppets, a die cast derby, and magic with Tim Kutch and rock music with No Mind Frame, Spectral Presence and 8th Street Rox.

Events take place in downtown Butler, inside restaurants, businesses and Butler Arts Council facilities. A free shuttle bus will transport patrons between venues. The evening concludes with Zambelli fireworks at midnight.

Individual admission buttons cost $10; a party pack of four buttons is $30. A "Ring in the Arts!" button serves as an admission ticket to all events. The buttons are available at Friedman's and Bi-Lo Grocery Stores, The Embarq Store at Clearview Mall, Miller's Shoes, the Butler County Symphony Office, Snack-n-Pack (353 East Jefferson), and the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

The Associated Artists of Butler County has expanded its call for artists for the Third Annual Age of Aquarius to include musicians.The celebration of 1960s and early 1970s art, music and fashion will be held from Jan. 26 to Feb. 23.Deadline for art entries is Jan. 12.
