Bier, Benjamin
Ashley Bier and Adam Benjamin were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. J. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at the Four Points Sheraton in Cranberry Township.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Deb Bier of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Sallie Benjamin of Butler.
The matron of honor was Tierrah Byers of Butler and the maid of honor was Melissa Bier of Fenelton. Bridesmaids included Kelly Haley, Caitlin Smith, Heather Gade, Megan McClean, Lauren Butch and Stephanie Brenckle, all of Butler. Junior bridesmaids were Ashley Benjamin of Butler and Nicole Schomburger of Tucson, Ariz. The flower girl was Becky Morris of Sandown, N.H.
Serving the bridegroom as best men were Ryan Stewart of Butler and Keegan Baldauf of Ashland, Ohio. Ushers included Brady Bier and Theo Pikoulas, both of Butler; Chris Nakis of Chicago; Ian Hughes of Mercer; Jeff Hodge of Cleveland and Adam Anderson of Erie. The ring bearer was Ben Morris of Sandown.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She works as a chemistry teacher at Slippery Rock High School.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and in 2005 from Grove City College. He works for Keystone Ridge Designs in Butler.
Following a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the couple is making their home in Butler.
