Richard W. Edmonds
Richard W. Edmonds, 84, of Dundee, Mich., formerly of Butler, died Thursday at Medilodge of Monroe in Monroe, Mich.
Born June, 21 1922, in Butler, he was the son of William and Margureite Gates Edmonds.
He was retired from the Air Force as a master sergeant before becoming an electric repairman for the Pennsylvania Department of Education. He had been retired for 20 years.
He was a member of the Bruin United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Craig Edmonds of Dundee and Charles Edmonds of Fountain Valley, Calif.; a brother, James Edmonds of Rock Hills, S.C., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia J. Davis, on Dec. 28, 2005, and whom he married June, 5, 1948.
