Helen Ann Rausch
Helen Ann Rausch, 89, formerly of Lyndora, died peacefully Tuesday at the Sunnyview Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born Jan. 3, 1917, in Butler, she was a daughter of Joseph and Barbara Rozic Karabogdan.
She was a homemaker; and in her younger years, she had worked at the Spaide Shirt Factory.
Mrs. Rausch was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and was a former member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Seezox and Mrs. Thomas (Debbe Lestyk) Snow, both of Butler; three grandchildren, Steven M. (Elvira) Seezox of Arizona and Lori (Jack) Bickel and Vicki (Nick) Mudrick, both of Butler; and six great-grandchildren, Steven and Daniela Seezox, Amy and Justin Reese and Haley and Jillian Mudrick.
Her husband, Roy L. Rausch, whom she married Feb. 8, 1937, died Feb. 15, 1993. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Karabogdan, and three sisters, Caroline Schlatz, Mary Hodgson and Ann Love.
<B>Rausch </B>— Friends of Helen Ann Rausch, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz will officiate. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
