Joanne C. Nocera
Joanne C. Nocera, 80, of 112 Clinton Ave. died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pittsburgh, Sept. 10, 1926, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Vinroe Gerhart.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Nocera was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild of the church. She was a former member of the Legion of Mary and was a former sacristan at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Pat Nocera, to whom she was married for 58 years; three sons, David and Richard Nocera, both of Baltimore, and James Nocera of Butler; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.

Nocera, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church will hold a scriptural wake service at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
