Philharmonic to perform tonight
Some tickets are still available for the holiday concert at 8 p.m. tonight at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.
The North Pittsburgh Philharmonic will present its annual holiday show under the direction of Roger Tabler. The group will perform traditional carols and classical favorites.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $17 at the door; students pay $10. Call the Succop Theater box office at 724-284-8505.

Future shows in BC3's performing arts series include:
• The comedy trio Modern Man, better known as David Buskin, Rob Carlson and George Wurzbach, will perform on Feb. 2.
• Celebrated Chinese dancer Yu Wei will perform on Feb. 17. Drawing from traditional Chinese dance, as well as classical, folk, Western ballet and modern dance, Yu Wei combines nature-inspired choreography with traditional costumes and music to create a powerful, artistic performance.
• The National Players return once again to perform Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of being Earnest" on March 24. "Earnest" is regarded by many critics and scholars as being the wittiest play in the English language.
• Anthony Zerbe will perform "It's All Done With Mirrors," a one-man tribute to the poetry of e. e. cummings, on April 14.
• Slippery Rock University Jazz Band and Butler Tornado Big Band will perform on May 5. From classics to the latest compositions, many talented students will perform for this Armstrong sponsored event.
