Charla and Benjamin Oesterling

Butler residents Charla Vogel and Benjamin Oesterling were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 10 at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Kevin McKnight officiated. A reception followed at the Hindman Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Charles Vogel of Sarver and Joyce Vogel of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael Oesterling of Wampum and Donna Boal of Butler.

The bride was presented for marriage by her mother.

The matron of honor was Heidi Minto of Butler. Bridesmaids included Bonnie Forsythe, Mandy DeSantis and Rachel Sarvey, all of Butler. The flower girl was Megan Minto of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Natthan Slater of Chicora. Ushers included Anthony Oesterling of Butler, Jeremy Taylor of Slippery Rock and Richard Julius of Fenelton. The ring bearer was Matthew Minto of Butler.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for J.J. Gumberg in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Butler High School and in 2006 from Butler County Community College. He works for Embarq in Butler.

The couple is making their home in Butler.
