Linda L. Vogel
Linda L. Vogel, 61, of Sunset Drive in Butler died Wednesday at her residence.
Born June 3, 1945, in Roch-ester, Pa., she was the daughter of Elizabeth M. "Betty" Gomory Vogel and the late Leonard P. Vogel.
She was a 1963 graduate of Butler High School. She graduated in 1977 from Butler County Community College with an associate degree in business administration. She then earned her bachelor's degree in human resource management from Point Park University in 1987, and her master's degree in adult education from Penn State University in 1988.
She worked as the training and development manager for the Trump Marina Casio in Atlantic City, N.J. for more than five years. She retired in 1996 because of her declining health.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving are her mother of Butler; a son and his wife, Darren J. and Lisa Lesnik of North Aurora, Ill.; a daughter, Dena M. (Lesnik) Martinez, with whom she made her home in Butler; a grandson, Dylan D. Lesnik of North Aurora, Ill., a granddaughter, Dakota L. Martinez of Butler; a brother and his wife, Leonard H. and Susan Vogel of Evans City; two sisters, Janice M. Vogel of Portersville and Mrs. William (Jean) Vogel Schmal of Absecon, N.J.; and her best friend and care giver, Cindy Ziegenfus.
Also surviving are six nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
<B>VOGEL</B> — Friends and family of Linda L. Vogel, who died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, are invited to gather from 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Geibel Funeral Home,</B> 201 E. Cunningham St. A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
