Gayle M. McCall, 61, of Butler died at 9 p.m. Saturday at her home after a long illness.

Born April 30, 1945, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Dale and Lillian Anderson Oesterling.

She was a member of the Church of God in Evans City, where she was the treasurer for many years.

Mrs. McCall enjoyed knitting, reading and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a graduate of the Presbyterian University Hospital Nursing Program and had been a nurse at Passavant Retirement Center and at several local doctors' offices.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald A. McCall, whom she married May 6, 1995; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Alicia) Roxbury of Prospect; a son, Jason Johnson and his wife, Bonnie, of Ross, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Nathan (Karen) Collins of Valencia and Marsha McCall of Cranberry Township; two stepsons, Richard McCall and his wife, Karen, of Butler and Rodney McCall and his wife, Vanessa, of Harmony; and 10 grandchildren, Abigail, Bethany, Carrie and Shane Roxbury of Prospect, Derek and Autumn Johnson of Ross, Ohio; Lucas, Laura and Alyssa Collins of Valencia and Amanda McCall of Harmony.

She also is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Bernie (Dorothy) Tipton of Huddleston, Va., and Mrs. Ira (Sharon) Murdick, Diana Haraburda and Mrs. John (Robin) Stevenson, all of Butler; a brother, Dale Oesterling Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of McKean, Erie County; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>McCall</B> — Friends of Gayle M. McCall, who died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Visitation also will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of God in Evans City, where the funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Karns officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of God Building Fund, 800 S.
