Sue C. Murdick Burns, 49, of 2608 West Sunbury Road in Boyers, formerly of Butler, died at 12:55 p.m. Monday at the Clarion Hospital of injuries she received Monday in a motorcycle accident in Farmington Township, Clarion County.

Born in Butler, July 27, 1957, she was the daughter of Carl W. and Sally M. Raible Murdick of Butler.

She was an avid homemaker and enjoyed cooking, canning and baking. She also enjoyed hunting, gardening and camping.

Surviving are her husband, Roy D. Burns, whom she married Sept. 12, 1981; two sons, Jed A. and Nathaniel Burns, both of Boyers; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Regina) Pruitt of Winter Haven, Fla., and Mrs. Jason (Stephanie) Wetzel of Butler; and four grandchildren, Danielle and Angel Pruitt of Winter Haven and Heavenly and Jason "JJ" Wetzel, both of Butler.

Also surviving are a brother, David Murdick (Gina) of Butler; three sisters, Sharon Dubyak of Slippery Rock and Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Rankin and Mrs. Gary (Sheila) Rankin, both of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>BURNS </B>— Friends of Sue C. Burns, who died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Thompson- Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Robert Peterson, pastor of St. John's Reformed Church, officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1027 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053; or to the Butler County Children's Center, 200 Renaissance Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.thompson-miller.com.
