Frances H. Winters

Frances H. Kemper Winters, 94, of Lancaster, Ohio, formerly of Meridian, died Wednesday at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.

She was the owner and operator of the Meridian Gift Shop for 23 years before retiring.

Mrs. Winters was a member of St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Surviving are a daughter, Doris Lucas Hammack of Bremen, Ohio; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Billie Kemper of Powderly, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters and brothers-in-law, Roselin Ralston of North East, Erie County, Alice and Ed Seigh of East Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and Eleanor and Daryl Betz of Butler; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clement Kemper and Jim Winters; and brothers and sisters.

<B>WINTERS</B> — A graveside service for Frances H. Kemper Winters, who died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, will be held at the St. Peter Cemetery at a later date.Cremation was handled by the <B>Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory</B>, Lancaster, Ohio.
