Betty Marie Kildoo
Betty Marie Kildoo, 81, of 192 North Liberty Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at her home after a long illness.
Born in Kittanning. Feb. 15, 1925, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Laura Bowser Wyant.
She was a homemaker and a former auditor for Liberty Township.
Mrs. Kildoo was a member of the North Liberty Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school for 29 years, was a former treasurer and belonged to the Quilters group. She also belonged to the former Mercer County Presbyterian Sunday School Association and the Slippery Rock American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Dean B. Kildoo, whom she married Aug. 28, 1946; four children, Marilyn Gatica and her husband, Jorge, of Reynosa, N.M., Paul L. Kildoo of Harrisville, Ronald D. Kildoo and his wife, Suzanne, of Volant and Donald E. Kildoo and his wife, Betty, of Grove City; and eight grandchildren.
She also is survived by a sister, Wanda Atkinson and her husband, Paul, of Kittanning.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Harold Wyant.
<B>KILDOO</B> — Friends of Betty Marie Kildoo, who died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Cunningham funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the North Liberty Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Herb Geotz, pastor of the Plain Grove Presbyterian Church, officiating.
