Palmer finished 25-of-32 for 275 yards.• Brad Johnson, Vikings, threw for 271 yards and three TDs in a 31-26 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, his first three-touchdown game since Nov. 27 of last season, a span of 16 games.• Chad Pennington, Jets, passed for 286 yards and a TD finishing 24-of-31 in a 26-11 victory over Houston.• Drew Brees, Saints, was 21-of-30 for 349 yards — his fifth straight 300-yard game — and two TDs in a 31-13 win at Atlanta.• Vince Young, Titans, ran for a touchdown and threw for two more in the final 9:35 and finished with a career-high 249 yards passing in a 24-21 win over the Giants.

Rushingn LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers, rushed for 109 yards on 19 carries and had two TDs. He also passed for a score, the sixth of his career. Tomlinson has 24 touchdowns, four short of the NFL record set last year by Shaun Alexander of Seattle.• Frank Gore had 134 yards on 21 carries for the 49ers in a 20-17 loss at St. Louis. Gore has four 100-yard games in the last five weeks. Steven Jackson of the Rams had 121 yards on 23 carries and nine receptions for 71 more yards.• Michael Vick, Rams challenged his NFL record for yards rushing by a quarterback with 166, 7 short of his 173-yard performance in an overtime victory at Minnesota in 2002. But the Falcons lost 31-13 to the Saints.• Ladell Betts, the Redskins' featured running back with Clinton Portis now out for the year, ran for 104 yards on 24 carries in a 17-13 victory against Carolina.• Fred Taylor, Jaguars, finished with 101 yards rushing on 22 carries in a 27-24 defeat at Buffalo.• Chester Taylor, Vikings, rushed for 136 yards and a TD in a 31-26 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Receivingn Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals, had 11 catches for 172 yards in a 31-26 loss to the Vikings in Minnesota, where Fitzgerald was a star at Holy Angels High School in Richfield. Teammate Anquan Boldin gained 140 yards on nine catches.• Chad Johnson, Bengals, didn't get in the end zone, but finished with seven catches for 123 yards, giving him 573 in the past three games. Cincinnati routed Cleveland 30-0.• The Jets' Laveranues Coles caught nine passes for 111 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown, and Jerricho Cotchery had seven catches for 110 yards in a 26-11 win over Houston. The Texans got 10 catches each from Andre Johnson and Eric Moulds.• Bernard Berrian, Bears, gained 104 yards on five catches in a 17-13 loss to New England.
