Howard 'Razor' Jaillet

Howard O. "Razor" Jaillet, 82, of Chicora Medical Center, formerly of the Butler Arbors apartments, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 17, 1924, in Raymilton, Venango County, he was the son of Howard Woodham Jaillet and Ida May Henderson Jaillet.

He had been a truck driver for Don Martin and Wayne Sell.

Mr. Jaillet served in the Army during World War II and received the Victory Medal and American Campaign Medal.

He attended the Christ Outreach Church and was a member of VFW Joseph T. Black Post 249 and Butler Elks Lodge 170.

He enjoyed fishing and playing with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Dally Jaillet, whom he married on Nov. 6, 1946; two sons, Howard L. Jaillet of Easly, S.C., and David M. Jaillet of Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Edd (Helen) Orsborn of Renfrew; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two sisters.

<B>JAILLET</B> — Friends of Howard O. "Razor" Jaillet, who died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Hughie Orsborn officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
