Russell 'Reb' Kline
Russell M. "Reb" Kline, 84, of Ridge Road in Franklin Township died early Sunday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Born April 29, 1922, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Edward B. and Minnie West Kline.
He was a member of the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church and the AARP.
Mr. Kline had worked at Step-Saver Kitchens in Evans City for 28 years.
He enjoyed woodworking and hunting with his sons and grandsons.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma M. Kline, whom he married Aug. 21, 1988; four sons, Russell Kline Jr. of Texas, Gary Kline of Tennessee, Steve Kline of Franklin Township and Mike Kline of Prospect; two daughters, Linda McGinn of Pittsburgh and Chris Schramm of Prospect; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He also is survived by four stepchildren, Joyce Cranmer of Butler, William Horne of Michigan, Francis Horne of Florida and Roy Horne of Butler; eight stepgrandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Kline; two brothers; and two sisters.
<B>KLINE </B>— Friends of Russell M. "Reb" Kline, who died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will follow at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey Curtis, his church pastor, officiating.
