1:30 a.m. Friday — Clifford D. Booher, 24, of Slippery Rock was charged with simple assault after allegedly kicking Tashina Ironcloud, 22, and punching her nine times at 314 Orchid Lane in Brady Township. Booher also was charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly spitting numerous times in the patrol car. He was jailed in Butler County Prison on $5,000 bond.Ironcloud was cited for summary harassment after allegedly scratching Booher and throwing a phone at him during the altercation.3:15 p.m. Wednesday — Robert C. Cochenour, 36, of North Washington was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic safety stop at the intersection of Hendricks Road and Glenwood Way in Center Township.Wednesday — Someone smashed four windows of a vehicle parked at Downes Tire service on Sandy Point Road in Emlenton between 1 and 5 a.m. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.

11:18 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Alyssa Jamison, 19, of Slippery Rock slid on a patch of ice and hit two guardrails on the Kennedy's Mill Bridge on Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township. She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

1:55 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Chad Clawson, 22, of Meadville hit a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township. The impact sent the car into another guardrail, which the car skidded against for 40 feet. Clawson was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for a traffic violation.
