Cygan

Stephen Cygan, 78, of Lyndora died Wednesday at the Western Pennsylvania Burn Trauma Center in Pittsburgh.

Born July 2, 1928, in Butler, he was a son of Demetrius Metro and Tillie Sabron Cygan.

He was a 1948 graduate of Butler High School and was a veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Cygan worked for the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad for 35 years and retired in 1985.

He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lyndora.

He is survived by a brother, John "Dunny" Cygan of Butler. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Seven brothers preceded him in death.

<B>CYGAN</B> — Friends of Stephen Cygan, who died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. William T.
