Catherine Hicks, center, co-star of the television series, "7th Heaven"recently donated $10,000 to St. Wendelin Roman Catholic School in Summit Township. At the recent Capuchin Friar's Padre Pio dinner in Pittsburgh, Hicks, the Padre Pio Award winner and keynote speaker, met Ray Mitch, left, and his wife, Carol, parents of a St. Wendelin student. After talking to the Mitches about St. Wendelin, Hicks sent a donation and statement to the school. "We must do all we can to give whatever we can to keep as many schools open as possible," Hicks said in her statement.
