The Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host a free Shichi-Go-San Japanese-themed children's day at 10 a.m. Saturday.
In Japan, Shichi-Go-San celebrates the growth and health of 3- and 7-year-old girls and 3- and 5-year-old boys.
The event Saturday is open to children ages 3 to 7 and will offer Japanese candies and the opportunity for children to try on kimonos.
