Shuler, Snyder
Laura Shuler of Butler and 2nd Lt. Nicolas Snyder of Wichita Falls, Texas, were united in marriage at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19 at the residence of Pamela Tait in Butler. The Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiated. A reception followed at the Herman Fire Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Sr. and Susan Shuler, both of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Mark and Eileen Snyder of Wichita Falls.
The matron of honor was the bride's sister Jennifer Hydrick of Exeter, N.H. Bridesmaids included Adele Bitler of Butler and Mary Manino of Arlington, Texas. Flower girls were Maggie and Gabby Olewiler of Greenville, S.C.
Performing the duties of best man was Brian McGovern of Arlington. Ushers included Jourdan Simmang and Zack Simmang, both of Austin, Texas. The groom's dog, Snowy, served as the ring bearer.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2006 graduate of the Northern Arizona Massage Therapy Institution.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Hirschi High School and in 2006 from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He currently serves in the Army, stationed at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
Following a honeymoon trip to San Luis Bay, Calif., the couple is making their home in Lawton.
